Wedding Signage Pricing & FAQ's

Do you create wedding and celebration welcome signs, menu signs and bar lists?

YES !  

I can hand letter these on medium, square or long blackboards

Painted background in black, dark grey or ivory - hire $50.

Larger menus or information can be done on larger blackboards painted background as above – hire $75.

Custom colour background board - add $25.

Design lettering for Welcome boards eg Welcome to the wedding of ... - from $95.

Drinks or bar list, Menu lettering - from $95.

Depending on what you require, illustration/decoration extra -  POA

Easel if required- hire $50.

Can I supply my own blackboards, wooden signs, acrylic signs or mirrors?

YES !  

Though I am pretty fussy on the type of chalk paint used on blackboards or smooth surface I will be creating on. It may be, that I have to give them a quick coat of chalk paint before I start. Anything at all can be written on providing the surface is good enough.

Do you create wedding and celebration smaller signs?

YES! 

I can create any, direction signs or descriptions and information signs such as “Wishing well”, “Please sign our guest book” etc. Can be done on tent style card, or can be done on card to fit into your frame A5, A4 or A3. Also I can write on any wooden signs if you supply those needed for directions etc - from $25.

Do you create seating plans?

YES! 

ON BLACKBOARDS I usually create these on my large blackboard, background painted black, dark grey or ivory - hire $75. Custom colour background - add $25.

Easel if required- hire $50.

Heading design eg “Please find your seat” or Please be seated”, seating plan measure up, and rule up and table headings from $125.

Guest full names $4. per name

SEATING PLAN ON SMALL CARDS

Seating plan cards A5 or similar to hang on a tree, or branches or strung on a board 

$10. per A5 table card – includes card and Table number eg Table 8

$15. Per A4 table card

Guest names first names $3. per guest

Guest full names $4. per guest

Do you create wedding and celebration ceremony backdrops and table runners?

YES !  

These are done on a paper roll around 800mm wide and as long as required.

They look great as ceremony backdrops, isle runners or table runners.

Many use favourite songs, wedding vows, love words, celebration words

For Engagements, Weddings, Birthdays, Bridal Showers, Hen’s days, Christenings, Kids birthdays and more! For any celebration really! – from $125

SIGN FEES

$25 mixing fee on chalkboard other than black on light background boards.

$25 mixing fee on chalkboards other than white on dark background boards.

$25 blending fee for any ink colours other than black.

$25 colour mixing fee for custom colour background of board.

$30 Admin Fee, cover all emails, phone calls, print outs etc on all jobs.

How can I send you my wedding signage information to you?

EASY! YOU CAN EMAIL YOUR INFORMATION

Word documents are preferred and a minimum 12pt type size. You can also include your sign info in your email if needed.

How can I send you my seating plan information to you?

Excel doc or Word documents are preferred and a minimum 12pt type size.

What if I have amendments to my guest list or sign information?

To let me know if there are any changes or amendments to your information before you send any updated list. These things happen, just let me know by phone, before emailing an updated list, so I can work from the most updated information. Sometimes it is just an additional or name change so we can do this over the phone, saving additional print outs.

Do I need to make a booking for your work?

YES PLEASE!  

When possible, a good lead time is welcomed for wedding work – 3 weeks to a month notice would be great so I am able to schedule your work - notice by phone call or email is required.

What is your turnaround time and do you work to deadlines?

YES, I WILL WORK TO A DATE REQUIRED BY.

It does depend on the workflow and booked work at the time. I will work with you to achieve your completion date or deadline. For urgent jobs that are required to be turned around quickly, or needed overnight or “yesterday” an additional rush fee applies.

Do I need to make a deposit for your work?

YES, A DEPOSIT OF 50% 

Is required for wedding or commissioned work, this non-refundable deposit and part payment is required for notice to proceed with your wedding signage or calligraphy. Payable by EFT direct to my account. I will achieve to complete the work in the timeline we discuss.

How will I know when you have completed the signage work?

I WILL CONTACT YOU. 

I will usually let you know by email, or in some cases by phone to let you know the work is finished and ready to pick up. Your hire signage and or easel will be packaged in calico bags, ready for pick up by you, or your courier from the studio usually on the day prior to your event as arranged.

How do I make final payment for the work?

BY EFT DIRECT TO MY ACCOUNT

I will send an invoice for the remainder of total required for the signage or calligraphy work. Full payment is required for the signage or calligraphy work before pick up or postage to you for the completed work by EFT direct to my account.  For corporate sign work I supply an invoice with payment settled in 7 days from invoice date. I will also take a credit card record, in case of any damage or loss to the hire boards or easels.

How will return the hire boards?

RETURNING HIRE BOARDS AFTER YOUR EVENT

I require any hire boards and /or easels to be returned to the studio in their calico bags, the following business day after your event. They will be checked for any damage or loss, if in the unlikely event there is any damage or loss you will be charged accordingly.
